MAY 11TH - VERY VERISIMILITUDINOUS
Welcome to The Western Front - 120m of music, news, and views. We broadcast across the Front Range on alternate Wednesdays from 9-11 pm.
In this edition of the show we'll check in with local rockin' trio Hot IQs, DJ Bobby Collins swings by to drop some crazy beats on your head, we'll chat with the main man behind Mice Parade, Doc Martin opens the dossier on Wesley Tuttle, plus more super cool free music, all that plus the latest news, a trip "On The Internets" and more.
FEATURES FOR THIS EVENING:
|
 |
Mice Parade Interview:
We'll catch a conversation with Adam Pierce. You may know Adam as the leader of the delicate polyrhythmic ensemble Mice Parade, or as a rotating member of HiM, or as one half of the now extinct Dylan Group, or as the occasional drummer for Múm... yep... that's the guy. He's also the kingpin of the Bubblecore Record Label, which is as tricky as it sounds.
|
 |
Hot IQs Performance:
That's right, Hot IQs are here to rock your radio. Rob Bell chats with Eli, Elaine, and Bryan about their evolution from the Royal We to the super-smart hotdogs that they are today. Just how exactly do a couple of college radio DJs turn themselves into the CDs that other college radio DJs play? Curious, isn't it?

George Figgs aims his mighty klieg lights to the night sky of the internet, hoping to spot a few incredible mp3s for your listening pleasure. Who knows what sparkling jewels await us tonight. Free and legal mp3s... ah, tis better to have than to have not.

Dossier: Wesley Tuttle:
So, you push your fingers through a meat grinder! No problem, it doesn't mean you don't have a future in music. Doc Martin tells us the unusual tale of Wesley Tuttle, one of Country music's finest.
